Color Palette Thursday

Here at Working Brides we are constantly trying to come up w/ news ways to use color so that our clients can have a truly custom day. So play w/ color palettes quite a bit and have decided its time to share :) This is one I call Spring Fling!! Hope it brings a smile to your face and some inspiration for your day!!!




I love the having shades of pink/purple and splashing it up w/ the yellow and green. Then the hint of blue is just for some added fun and flair :) This may be a bit much for my Western brides, but it can certainly be tamed by losing a color or two. I am certain my South Asian brides can imagine the fun they can have incorporating these color throughout their many events.

WEDDING NOUVEAU

Hello Ladies,
It is such a gorgeous day today and I was lucky to get started early this morning meeting a new Bride Nikki!! She was super sweet, thanks to her for coming out so early today to meet me!! When I returned to the office I was happy to see Alisha & Marks wedding featured in a lovely spread on Wedding Nouveau!! Thanks so much to Fri Bailey over at Wedding Nouveau for taking the time to chat with me!! Alisha & Marks wedding will have be featured today and one day next week as well!

Bridesmaids Dresses, what to do with it afterwards?

So all you ladies still holding on to a bridesmaids dress or TWO, here is a solution or TWO!!

Hitched a bridal boutique in DC is taking used and dry cleaned gowns and they will them have them available for ladies that can not afford a gown.

OR

Turn your gorgeous gown into a throw pillow :)




Its tough to pay $200-500 for a gown you truly only wear once, so try coming up w/ a way to recycle :)
